- Work Schedule: PT/Temp (20-39 hours, No Benefits)
In-person academic classes are held Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Performing Arts classes are Monday – Thursday, 4:00 p.m.
- 5:15 p.m. Work times include 15 minutes before and after class, plus 30 minutes weekly for staff meetings. Virtual classes may be included if needed.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in education or relevant discipline with significant high school teaching experience; state certification preferred. (For Performing Arts: Relevant combination of education and experience).
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet, Google Classroom). Light clerical skills.
- Experience working with ethnically diverse students (preferably high school ages).
- Proficiency in virtual teaching.
- Commitment to helping students prepare for college.
- Science — Biology, Chemistry, Physics
- Performing Arts — Vocal Music, Drama, Dance, Scene Design
- Electives — decided annually
- Develop and submit lesson plans using electronic platforms (Google Drive, LMS, etc.).
- Supervise Academic Mentors and utilize classroom resources to foster a positive learning environment.
- Maintain Google Classroom by posting assignments and responding to student inquiries.
- Manage instructional schedules and ensure timely sign-in/out.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to support student development and achieve goals.
- Communicate with parents as needed.
- Record grades and academic progress weekly in LMS, including final reports with comments.
- Identify and recommend Spirit Award recipients and Academic Distinction Award winners, and present certificates during awards programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Academic Coordinator or Project Director.
