Salary

Salary Range: $25,262.50 – $45,876.50 annually (based upon 192 days; prorated based on hire date). Salary schedule can be reviewed in the 2023‑2025 REA Contract.

Qualifications
  • Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area (K‑12 Learning Disabilities or Academic Behavior Strategist
    ): preferred or required.
  • RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level.

Additional Qualifications
  • Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.
  • Demonstrates continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job‑embedded staff development.
  • Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, and students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
