Surgery Cardiovascular Physician

Required Skills:

Proficiency in cardiothoracic and vascular procedures

Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical techniques

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work under pressure in a trauma setting

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with minimally invasive and robotic surgeries

Familiarity with TAVR, carotid endarterectomy, or heart failure surgeries

Knowledge of current surgical technologies and innovations

Bilingual capabilities are a plus

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

Valid MN Medical License or IMLC certification

Minimum of 3 years of post-residency surgical experience in a trauma or high-volume setting

Previous experience in a Level II trauma environment is preferred

Other Requirements:

Must submit a complete application file with verified credentials

Willingness to participate in a rotating call schedule, including overnight and weekend shifts

Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)

Ability to start by 01/12/2026

Flexibility in handling routine and complex procedures such as CABs, valves, aortic aneurysms, and LVAD surgeries

Must comply with all hospital and regulatory requirements

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $322.34
