This is a learning‑focused role where you’ll work alongside experienced designers, visit job sites, and contribute to actual client projects—from early design concepts through installation.

What You’ll Do:As a Landscape Design Intern, you’ll:
- Assist designers with real residential landscape projects.
- Help develop drawings, layouts, and client presentation materials.
- Participate in site visits, measurements, and field observations.
- Research plants, materials, and products for Minnesota landscapes.
- Sit in on client meetings and design presentations.
- Learn how projects are budgeted, proposed, and sold.
- Collaborate with design, sales, and installation teams.
- Support day‑to‑day project needs as part of a team environment.
By the end of the summer, you’ll gain:
- Practical experience with residential landscape design and site planning.
- Stronger plant knowledge and understanding of regional construction methods.
- Exposure to the full design‑build process—from first client meeting to installation.
- Professional communication and presentation skills.
- A foundational understanding of landscape sales, proposals, and client expectations.
