Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Possess the keyboarding skills necessary to perform successfully in this position. Ability to compose professional correspondence. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population.

Position PurposeThe Program Assistant will support the coordination, dissemination and development of processes related to graduate student milestones from application to graduation. The Program Assistant will work closely with a diverse population of future and current graduate students, faculty and the departmental Graduate Coordinator and Graduate Advisor.
