AP Accountant

We’re partnering with a hospitality group in Rochester, MN that’s looking to add an AP
Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to gain hands‑on experience.

Salary: $50k - $55K (depending on experience)

• Process and code vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approval
• Manage weekly payment runs ensuring accuracy and timing
• Reconcile vendor statements and handle discrepancies and vendor records
• Monitor and respond to internal and external billing inquiries i
• Process and reconcile credit card transactions, expense reports, and chargebacks
• Assist with sales tax tracking and filings; maintain applicable tax documentation
• Perform AP-related reconciliations including accruals, and prepaid expenses,
• Support AP schedules for month-end close and bank reconciliations
• Assist with audit requests by preparing AP schedules and documentation
• Help identify opportunities to streamline processes and procedures
• Support additional GL accounting duties as needed

• Associates degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of related AP/Accounting experience
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable asking questions
• Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
