Local Contract Nurse RN - CVICU

Meta Sense, Inc. is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVICU for a local contract nursing job in Rochester, Michigan.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Must be able to care for post‑op open heart patients
• Experience with Impella and IABP is required

Schedule:

7 pm – 7:30 am. May request up to 1 week of RTO. Must be available to work every other weekend. Must be available for at least one holiday.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
