RN - CVICU

7 PM - 7:30 AM, must work one holiday and every other weekend. No on-call required.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team, participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals, and ensures implementation of solutions.

• Coordinate and deliver patient care in the CVICU setting.
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks to ensure quality care.
• Document care provided and educate patients and families.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Identify variances from patient goals and participate in implementing solutions.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Impella and IABP is required.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
