Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Michigan with Cerner proficiency and night shift availability.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes a wide range of emergency cases
- Schedule is 7:00pm to 7:30am with every other weekend required
- Position requires working twelve-hour night shifts
- No on-call responsibilities
- Must be available for at least one holiday during the contract
- Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
- Utilizes Cerner EMR and experience with Cerner is required
- Must complete onsite online modules and achieve a passing score prior to start
- COVID-19 vaccination is required for all staff
- RTO up to 1 week is allowed but must be requested at the time of consideration
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality emergency nursing care
- Active Michigan RN license required at the time of consideration
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department RN experience required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS and TNCC certifications preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to create and implement nursing care plans
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team
