Mechanical Design Engineer

The application-specific experience is required for the following application:

Material Handling Conveyor Systems, Assembly line automation

Robotics System with Material Handling

Gantry System;
Machine tool/ SPM Machine manufacturing

Design Tool - Solid Edge or any other Solid Modelling tool, AutoCAD, GD &T.

Communication Skill and Leadership Quality.

KEY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Creation of process Layout/ Design. Part and process Data Preparation and Review.

- Detailing of the Concept

- Concept Layout Preparation and review

- Complete Responsibility
-Design Quality, Output, timeliness.

- Contribution and use of standard designs.

- Manufacturing drawing preparation and release with GD&T.

- Selection of purchased items (Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, Sensors, power transmission elements, guiding elements, End effectors (Schunk, Zimmer etc), clamping units, standard profiles, structural elements, locating elements etc.)

-Sizing calculations

- ERP BOM control

- VR studies

-Data sharing and review using Teamcenter.

-Any assignment given by the engineering manager to full fill the engineering deliverables to customer (Internal / External) or assignments related to technical issue resolution.

- customer communication and technical meetings.

-Should be undergoing training programs as and when identified which in the opinion of engineering manager are necessary to full fill or improve the skills and or efficiency of engineering function.

-Integration and installation support.
