The Department of Admissions is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the recruitment efforts of the University.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be a team player; flexibility is critical.
- A sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, not limited to verbal, written, and interpersonal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, social media, scheduling platforms, familiarity with CRM (e.g., Slate, Salesforce, Recruit, or similar) is preferred, experience with student information systems (e.g., Banner, Colleague, or similar) is preferred, and willingness/ability to learn new information technologies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Commitment to advancing the University’s mission and strategic vision/goals.

- One year experience in university admissions environment.
- Supervision experience.
Position
Purpose:
Supports the recruitment efforts of the University by assisting with communications and programming within Undergraduate Admissions.
Job Duties:
- Manage the student telecenter, which includes but is not limited to making calls, assisting with questions from student employees, pulling call lists, editing telecenter scripts, distributing calls, and overseeing the telecenter students.
- Assist with the development and editing of presentations for recruitment and yield events.
- Assist in the management of the inventory process.
- Answer phone calls, check voicemail, and return calls for the Undergraduate Admissions Programming Office.
- Respond to the visit email and SMS inbox daily.
- Attend staff and programming meetings; meet with Assistant Director of Communications weekly to provide updates.
- Assist with the fulfillment of materials requests.
- Assist with administrative duties that pertain to programming and special events.
- Assist with individual and group visit scheduling; communicating with prospective students/groups before their arrival to campus.
- Other duties as assigned.
