We are recruiting on behalf of an exciting new café looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate Barista to join the launch team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a creative, Instagram-worthy café serving brunch, pastries, light meals, and specialty coffee.

Role:
Barista

• Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee, including espresso-based drinks, to a consistent standard.
• Provide warm, friendly, and professional customer service, ensuring every guest has an excellent experience.
• Assist with the preparation and service of food items, including pastries, brunch dishes, and light meals.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming café environment at all times.
• Ensure high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety are followed.
• Handle takeaway orders and assist with outdoor/street food service during special events when required.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced café environment.
• Support opening and closing duties, including stock checks and cleaning tasks.

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar hospitality role is essetial
• A passion for coffee, food, and customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum) or willingness to obtain one.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Café hours: 7 days a week, 8am-6pm, with occasional later shifts for special events or seasonal periods (e.g., Christmas). Hours may vary depending on demand.
