Position: Factory Operative - 40 hours per week

40 hour working week - Monday–Thursday 06:00 – 16:30 (4-day working week!)

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company looking for a Factory Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a hands-on, physical role in a fast-paced production environment. You'll be working with cast metal parts, using various tools and machinery to prepare products for the next stage of production.

Duties will include:

· Fettling and grinding of metal castings using power tools

· Manual handling – moving boxes and materials

· Shot blasting (machine operation)

· Etching parts using specialist hand tools

· Operating a band saw when required

· Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work spaces

· Recording production data on a touchscreen system

· Completing paperwork to track tasks completed

You will have:

· Experience working within a manufacturing environment

· A good level of physical fitness

· Experience using hand tools

· Access to your own transport due to location

· A solid CV demonstrating reliability
