A lady is looking for a non‑smoking female personal assistant, to support her to live an independent life on a day‑to‑day basis. As a personal assistant you will be required to provide support in a range of areas, including but not limited to:

• Support with personal care, maintaining skin integrity, preparing nutritious meals, balanced diet, socialising and going out.
• Able to plan routes and be comfortable supporting on public transport and shopping.
• Provide reassurance, prompts medication, personal hygiene, getting dressed, hair washing, managing safety around the house, cook meals, help with light household tasks as needed.
• Provide reassurance and prompts around the daily routine, especially in areas of personal hygiene, getting dressed, maintaining a habitable home, meal prep and managing safety around the house.
• Be physically fit and able to support someone in an electric wheelchair.
• Must be okay with cats.

Looking for someone to be open to get to know me, to be understanding, patient and flexible. Reliable and punctual. Experience of working as a personal assistant is not necessary but a keen learner would be an advantage. If you are friendly, enthusiastic, motivating, and caring and want to support someone to remain independent, this job is for you!
