Location: Burham – You must be willing to travel across multiple sites and have a current full driving licence.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week plus standby cover on a 1‑in‑10 rota basis

Salary: Starting salary up to £41,500 per annum (depending on skills and experience), plus additional standby and call‑out payments

About the Role

Join our Water Production Team to help uphold compliance standards and support operational performance across our Burham site and surrounding areas. You’ll carry out audits to ensure cleanliness, safety, environmental management, and routine maintenance activities meet internal and regulatory requirements.

This role involves close collaboration with Field Performance Managers, assisting with planned work, coordinating operational activity, and supporting the team during unplanned events or health and safety risks.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Carry out site audits to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and cleanliness standards
  • Support planned work and coordinate operational activities across multiple sites
  • Respond to unplanned events and assist in managing health and safety risks
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Manage unannounced regulatory audits and maintain professional relationships with regulators
  • Deputise for the Field Performance Manager when required
  • Update company systems and databases accurately and promptly
  • Participate in standby cover on a 1‑in‑10 rota basis
Essential
  • Strong technical and operational background
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Desirable
  • Experience in water industry operations
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance standards
  • Understanding of water treatment processes and site management
