A warm, buzzing primary in the Rochester area is searching for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant who can bring patience, joy and steady guidance to children who learn in wonderfully individual ways. If you love helping young minds untangle tricky moments, celebrate small wins and find their footing, this role might feel like home.

You’ll be part of the heartbeat of the school, working across classes to support pupils with a mix of additional needs. Some days will be beautifully calm, others will have a bit of fizz in the air, and you’ll be the grounded presence that helps everything run smoothly.

You’ll thrive here if you:

• Have experience supporting children with SEND

• Enjoy adapting your approach to each child’s unique pace

• Carry kindness like it’s second nature

• Hold a relevant qualification (Level 2/3 CACHE or similar)

Your days will include:

• Working 1:1 and in small groups to build confidence and independence

• Following support plans with the SEN team, sprinkling in your own creativity where it helps

• Helping pupils regulate, refocus and rediscover their spark

• Being that dependable adult who brings calm when the room wobbles a little
