A lively little primary in Rochester is on the lookout for a wonderful human who can bring patience, sparkle and steady support to one brilliant pupil with speech and language needs. Think of this as a three-day-a-week quest where you champion confidence, celebrate tiny victories and help a young learner feel seen, heard and safe. ✨

If you’re the sort of person who can turn a wobble into a win, has a knack for calm encouragement, and enjoys the gentle art of helping children find their own rhythm, you might be exactly who they’re hoping for.

You’ll be perfect for this if you:

• Have experience supporting children with additional needs

• Enjoy 1:1 work and getting to know a child’s quirks, strengths and superpowers

• Bring warmth, patience and a sense of humour to your day

• Hold a relevant qualification (Level 2/3 CACHE or similar)

What the role looks like:

• Working closely with one lovely learner to guide, model, prompt and cheerlead

• Teaming up with teachers and the SEN crew so everyone’s rowing in the same direction

• Helping turn speech-and-language targets into small, achievable steps

• Adding positivity to the classroom atmosphere like a quiet, reliable beam of sunshine
