We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our client. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves managing a group of children in a nursery setting, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effectively interacting with both children and parents.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Manage daily routines, ensuring that the needs of all children are met.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere.
* Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced staff members when necessary.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the overall nursery experience for children and families.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting.
* A Level 3 qualification in Childcare is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young minds.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
