Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant within the Rochester area has arisen for our Motor Trade Client. Working within a Dealership, the successful Accounts Assistant will be representing an Automotive Volume Brand and will be well versed in providing an exceptional accounting service.

• Up to £28,000 annual basic salary
• OTE £30,000
• Full-time permanent contract
• Convenient working hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break
• Supportive team environment

• Responsibility for the input of purchase ledger invoices
• Preparation of daily banking and posting of ledgers
• Petty cash recording
• Reconciliation of Control Accounts

• Possess proven experience as an Accounts Assistant in the motor trade or a similar environment
• Be highly organised and detail‑oriented
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Have knowledge of motor trade accounting software such as Pinewood Pinnacle, Kerridge, or CDK
