• Prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and appropriate portion sizes.
• Recommend bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use all equipment in bakery properly.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and instructions.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients following recipes.
• Label, pack, and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality, including sell‑by dates.
• Stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies.
• Understand store layout for locating items.
• Stay current on seasonal and special ads.
• Maintain inventory awareness and report discrepancies.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create welcoming customer experiences.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Enforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
