Mold Maker; skilled trade

Overview

Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering is looking to add qualified experienced Mold makers to our Team. We offer a night shift premium and weekend shift premiums. We offer some flexible schedule arrangements.

Perform mold making on production injection molds and support related maintenance tasks as needed. Disassemble and reassemble TH & BH blocks, including repairs and preventive maintenance. Diagnose and correct electrical or hot runner system repairs. Manufacture new hydraulic and water lines. Operate surface grinder, drill press and engine lathe. Operate overhead crane and forklifts. Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.

• minimum of 2-3 years Mold Maker experience on production injection molds
• proficient at general disassembly and reassembly of TH & BH Blocks including repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Must be able to diagnose and correct electrical or hot runner system repairs
• manufacture new hydraulic and water lines
• be proficient with surface grinder, drill press & engine lathe operation.
• Experienced in operating overhead crane and driving forklift
• be self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
