The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant is to provide excellence in the Physical Therapy Standard of Practice while demonstrating the Health Quest Physical Therapy philosophy of care. It is also the responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant to maintain a full patient load while keeping up with the documentation requirements.

• Degree in PTA
• Licensed PTA
• APTA Membership – provided by Health Quest
• Physical demands up to 50 lbs. standing/walking/lifting/carrying

• Provides skillful patient treatment according to Health Quest philosophy of care.
• Completes progress notes and care plan notes in the established format and in compliance with Health Quest quality assurance standards.>
• Provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to Exercise Specialists.
• Participates in the peer review audit process.
• Creates a Home Exercise Program for each patient.
• Engages in internal marketing strategies to attract new patients.
• Maintains good relationships with referring physicians.
• Communicates effectively with patient and coverage therapist.
