Academic Success Center Peer Ambassador

The Academic Success Center is seeking Peer Ambassadors who will assist the ASC Staff with expanding campus awareness of the ASC and its many services. Open to all current or past ASC employees, regardless of position (Tutor, SI, SOA, Study Group Leader).

Pay Rate: $16/hour

• Facilitate Classroom Visits from various campus locations, delivering pertinent information about the ASC directly to course participants.
• Attend campus-wide and reserved tabling events, sharing current events and services with attendees from various populations.
• Create engaging and informative social media content primarily for the ASC's Instagram audience.

• Weekly shift lengths will vary depending on current needs, likely 0.5 - 2 hours a week.

• Must be a current or recent (2 or less semesters ago) ASC employee.
• Willingness and excitement to be filmed for social media content such as video posts, tutorials, or live streams.
• Effective verbal communication skills to positively represent the ASC.
• Current or past ASC employee for at least 1 semester, 2+ semesters preferred.
• Must be a currently enrolled OU student in a degree‑seeking program with one or more listed courses completed at OU.
• Second‑semester freshman standing or higher
• Adequate demonstration of time/task management skills
