Oakland University is searching for an Instructor to teach an online, asynchronous course on the foundations of health behavior and health education for master of public health students. This course will run July-August, 2023.
The lecturer will develop and deliver the assigned course based on the syllabus, address and assess the student learning outcomes, and issue timely course grades. Collaboration with the program director and relevant program faculty ensures compliance with accreditation competency requirements. The instructor of record will adhere to the general terms outlined for lecturers and follow University guidelines for instruction and grading as stated in the university catalog.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver an online asynchronous course on foundations of health behavior and health education.
- Assess student learning outcomes and issue timely course grades.
- Collaborate with program director and faculty to ensure accreditation competency compliance.
- Adhere to University guidelines for instruction and grading.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in health behavior, health promotion, public health, community health, or a relevant degree.
