SUMMARY: This is a seasonal position responsible for operating trucks as needed to deliver products to application equipment in the field. Safety is a priority! All tasks must be completed in a safe manner following established safety procedures, at times with little supervision. This is an hourly position at our Rochelle, IL location. This position requires extended work hours during peak seasons, including weekends.

• Safely operate trucks as needed to deliver products to application equipment in the field
• Read gauges or meters and record quantity loaded and unloaded
• Assist the equipment operator with filling and other needs to help maximize actual application time throughout the day
• Operate equipment in a manner to obtain efficient gallons/miles ratio
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks
• Perform basic clean-up, preventative maintenance on equipment, and light mechanic/shop work
• Assist in maintenance and cleanliness of facility, equipment, and grounds
• Greet customers in a courteous manner
• Understand and comply with ALL company, Federal, and State rules and regulations. This includes DOT, OSHA, Drug Testing, and Vehicle Maintenance Programs.
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have a current class A CDL license. Have working knowledge of agronomy facility operations including experience handling chemicals, fertilizers and other inputs. Applications without a current class A CDL license will be considered if you have the ability to obtain shortly after hire.
