Position OverviewWe’re seeking a full-time, energetic team member to join our Sheetfed Press Department. You will receive hands‑on training to operate and maintain advanced offset printing equipment and ensure all production meets our high standards for accuracy and finish. Pay to be determined by experience.
Key Responsibilities- Learn to operate sheetfed offset printing equipment under guidance of print lead.
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot press issues.
- A hands‑on learner, willing to get their hands dirty.
- Maintain open communication with the Printing Lead and production team.
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and operation of our 40" press.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability.
- Monitor the printing process to maintain consistent color, registration, and overall print quality.
- Conduct visual inspections and test runs to ensure every job meets specifications.
- Learn to program and release jobs from the print queue.
- Support inventory management for inks, paper, and other essential supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment while strictly adhering to all safety protocols.
- Previous experience in print production, or related manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to read job tickets and follow detailed instructions.
- A sharp eye for color consistency and a passion for high‑quality craftsmanship.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- A natural aptitude for working with machinery and performing technical adjustments.
- A desire to gain deep knowledge in offset press operations and grow within the team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (includes a 30 minute break). Fridays are reserved for overtime projects as needed.
