As a Resident Engineer, you will support construction oversight for a major wastewater treatment plant and additional municipal projects. Your responsibilities include:

• Serve as the on‑site representative during construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, permits, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, project managers, and municipal stakeholders.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, pay applications, change orders, and field documentation.
• Monitor construction schedules, quantities, and quality control procedures.
• Identify and resolve field issues in collaboration with the project team.
• Conduct and document progress meetings and site observations.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and correspondence.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction engineering or oversight.
• Direct experience with wastewater treatment plant design or construction strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, contract administration, and municipal infrastructure standards.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work full‑time on site.
