Transport Shift Manager

• Manage and supervise a team of HGV drivers and transport staff
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
• Monitor driver hours, tachograph compliance, and Working Time Directive adherence
• Oversee route planning efficiency and fleet utilisation
• Conduct driver briefings and debriefs
• Handle transport issues including delays, breakdowns and customer queries
• Maintain compliance with Road Traffic Act, DVSA and transport legislation
• Complete KPI reporting and shift performance analysis
• Support the Transport Manager with operational performance and cost control
• Previous experience as a high performing Transport Supervisor, or Transport Shift Manager
• Strong knowledge of driver hours regulations and tachograph rules
• Experience managing HGV drivers in a fast-paced logistics environment
• Understanding of transport compliance and fleet operations
• CPC (desirable)

• £36,000 - £38,000 per annum
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour rotating days & nights)
