Class 1 Hgv Driver

Proactive Personnel require a Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis for our client in Heywood / Middleton / Rochdale Greater Manchester.

Driving a curtain side vehicle, you will make 2/3 deliveries per day to locations throughout the UK. There is no Handball as all product is palletised and will be taken off the wagon by Fork Lift Truck.

Successful candidates will be required to complete all necessary paperwork at delivery points also may be required to use a pad to get delivery notes signed.

Good communication skills are essential in order to stay in contact with the client's Transport office. Drivers will be required to report any possible delays or pending issues to the Transport Manager.

Start times will vary from 05.00am to 07.00am.

You will be paid £17.50 per hour. PAYE..

There is an immediate start available.

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence 2 Years
• Digital Tachograph card
• Up to date Driver's CPC
• Broad knowledge of Driver's working time regulations
