Position: Roofer (Permanent)

We are looking for an experienced Roofer to join a reputable social housing contractors' responsive repairs and maintenance team working on social housing properties in Manchester.
The role involves carrying out a combination of planned, reactive, and emergency roof repairs to occupied and voided homes, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Your new role

Carry out roofing repairs on pitched and flat roofs in social housing properties
Replace tiles, slates, felt, battens, leadwork, and roofline components
Complete emergency and reactive repairs safely and efficiently
Diagnose roofing defects and report any additional work required.
Install or repair soffits, fascias, gutters, and rainwater goods
Work effectively in occupied properties while maintaining professionalism
Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a Roofer (domestic or social housing experience preferred)
Competent with pitched roofing, flat roofing, and general roofing repairs
Full UK driving licence
