Are you a Planning Manager or similar, who wants to play a leading, instrumental role in overseeing the entire planning function within a highly reputable, 150-year-old company?

In this role you will be responsible for driving forecast accuracy through manual forecasting, optimising the inventory, and improving service levels across the business. You will play a critical role in the planning and stock management process, whilst overseeing 6 Planners in a busy office environment.

Founded over 150 years ago and with a turnover of £20 million, this company supply their specialist products across the country and pride themselves on being a leader in their field. With hundreds of staff across numerous sites, this role will streamline the process ensuring more profitability for years to come.

This role would suit someone with a background in inventory control, forecasting, and supply chain planning looking for a crucial role within Senior Management of an international and lucrative business.

The Role:

• Heading up the Planning team of 6 within the office
• Monitor and anticipate sales demand, placing orders with long lead times
• Drive accuracy in forecasting (manual), optimise inventory, and improve service levels

• Planning Manager or similar
• Supply Chain background
• Experience managing a team
