We are looking for a detail‑oriented professional with expertise in shelving installation and a people‑first attitude. If you thrive in dynamic environments and excel at implementing space solutions, join our team as a SPACE (Space Planning and Capacity Evaluation) Implementer and take charge of our shelving installation projects.

About Us

At Martin Brower, we are dedicated to sustainability, continuous improvement, and valuing our people. As a global leader in supply chain solutions, we support some of the world’s largest restaurant chains by delivering food, beverages, and products with a focus on innovation and environmental responsibility.

Job Summary

Target restaurants where we can have an impact by collaborating with other departments and internal data sources to complete a technical site survey, suggest a design restructure to the CAD Team and then implement and install Martin Brower’s Space Planning and Capacity design solutions (shelving equipment) in restaurant chamber locations. The role is field based and supports the delivery of the SPACE strategy and process, driving profitability through cost‑effective and optimised SPACE solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Undertake chamber surveys that accurately reflect dimensions and configurations of restaurant back‑of‑house and storage spaces.
  • Suggest design solutions to CAD Technicians and provide feedback on layouts and plans.
  • Travel between restaurants to complete site surveys and installations.
  • Diary installation workload for forward planning of equipment and fixture requirements; ensure toolkit is well stocked.
  • Install equipment as per CAD planograms, executing real‑time solutions when issues are identified.
  • Relay chamber and stock rooms in accordance with design updates and customer quality requirements.
  • Understand, record and report non‑compliance and work with restaurants on maintenance of space and merchandising standards.
  • Train, explain and promote the mutual value of the SPACE process and solutions to the restaurant community.
  • Optimise business costs and efficiencies with field‑based movements, minimising duplicated visits and secondary activity through strong communication and proactive forward checks.
  • Administration duties: load storage area surveys onto the system, manage workload via Salesforce, and ensure installation sign‑off documentation and workload reporting each week.
  • Travel and stay away from home between Monday & Thursday.
Qualifications
  • Experience conducting detailed and documented site dimensional surveys across multiple sites and spaces.
  • Experience interpreting CAD plans and product planograms.

  • SEMA level training or experience installing free‑standing storage racking solutions and associated ancillary items.
  • Proficient in the use of basic site tools and measuring equipment.
  • Sound understanding of site working principles and relationships to ensure right first‑time delivery.
Personal Attributes
  • Organised and disciplined with excellent planning skills to prioritise and multitask.
  • Solution‑orientated, able to adapt a plan or adjust decisions quickly and reactively.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Operates with integrity and professionalism.
  • Trustworthy and able to operate independently and manage own time effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Duties of the role may change from time to time to meet changing business circumstances. In the interests of flexibility, the company reserves the right to ask that you perform duties instead of or in addition to your normal duties provided that these duties are reasonable and within your capabilities.
