Overview
We are seeking an exceptional senior leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Deputy Headteacher for Quality of Education. This is a pivotal role, central to shaping the strategic direction of curriculum, teaching, learning and professional development across the school.
Responsibilities- Lead the strategic development, implementation and evaluation of our curriculum and teaching approach.
- Ensure all students experience a high‑quality, ambitious and well‑sequenced curriculum.
- Drive excellence in teaching and learning, coaching and professional development.
- Oversee curriculum planning, assessment practices and quality assurance systems.
- Support and challenge senior and middle leaders to deliver consistently strong classroom practice.
- Contribute to whole‑school improvement, operational leadership and the continued development of The Kingsway our shared culture and approach to learning.
- Significant senior leadership experience within a secondary school.
- A strong track record of improving teaching, learning and curriculum quality.
- Expertise in curriculum design, assessment and evidence‑informed practice.
- The ability to analyse data, drive improvement and lead strategic change.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust, collaboration and high‑performing teams.
