English Graduate - Classroom Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic English Graduate to support our busy and successful secondary school English department in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future in teaching who wants to build classroom experience while working alongside experienced teachers.

In this role, you will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to raise attainment and develop students' confidence in reading and writing. You will work closely with the English department, assisting in lessons, supporting small groups and individual students, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

• Supporting teachers during English lessons
• Working with small groups or individual students who need additional support
• Helping students develop literacy, reading and writing skills
• Assisting with classroom preparation and learning activities
• Encouraging student engagement and confidence in English

• Graduates with a degree in English or a related subject
