Cover People are actively looking for sports coaches with UK based experience working with children, preferably aged 11-16 years old. The ideal candidate would have a relevant degree (BSc or MSc) OR coaching badges with recent experience however this isn't essential if you have a strong passion to support children.

This particular role is supporting children with specific interests in Sports, across their full timetable, supporting their educational and emotional needs. The school would like a relatable and confident Sports Coach for this specific role as they d like to offer the students intervention if they re emotionally dysregulated.

We re working in partnership with a Good rated secondary school in the heart of Rochdale, which is often complimented for being a community-led school, offering support to families to give disadvantaged children a fair chance to achieve.

• Support children with specific interests in Sports across their timetable, supporting educational and emotional needs.
• Provide intervention for students who are emotionally dysregulated.

• A degree related to sports/PE or coaching equivalent (or coaching badges with recent experience)
• Experience working with children aged 11-16 (UK-based) is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion to impact students to create a productive environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. The above vacancy is a temporary position. Occasionally, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. We offer flexibility with this, as we understand some candidates may not wish to commit to a permanent contract
