Responsibilities
  • Lead the Performing Arts team (Drama, Music and Dance) at Hollingworth Academy and drive progress across the faculty.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning in Performing Arts.
  • Engage in and contribute to educational research to develop practices within the faculty.
  • Contribute to the academy's commitment to ensuring pupils achieve outcomes that reflect their full potential.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support school improvement and governance of the faculty.
Qualifications
  • Outstanding and inspirational practitioner with drive and ambition to lead a Performing Arts team.
  • Experience of leading a faculty and delivering excellent pupil progress in Performing Arts.
  • Commitment to high-quality educational research and evidence-based practice.
  • Strong alignment with the academy's values and ethos (RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, RESILIENCE).
Benefits and Terms
  • Salary:
    Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (dependent on experience) plus TLR 2.3 £ 8,610. For outstanding candidates, a recruitment and retention allowance may be negotiated during the interview process, of up to £5,000.
  • Contract:

    Permanent
