Overview

Grade: TA1 - Grade 2 (Scale 3-4) and ASC Grade 1 (Scale 2-3)

Contract Type: Fixed

Hours: TA1 - 27.5 hours + ASC - 5 hours Thursday and Friday 3.15pm–5.45pm (32.5 hours per week total)

Working Pattern: Term Time Part Time

Actual Salary: Teaching Assistant - £15,781 - £16,029 and ASC £2,825 - £2,869

A vacancy has become available for a Teaching Assistant at Level 1 and After school Club Organiser.

Term - This vacancy is Fixed Term until 2030 or earlier if the child leaves school. Term-time only pro rata. Teaching Assistant - Full Time 27.5 hours a week. After school Club Organiser - Part Time 5 hours per week (Thursday and Friday 3.15pm–5.45pm).

Responsibilities

Teaching Assistant

  • Work under the direction of teaching staff.
  • Be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan to enable access to learning, in addition to core duties in the Level 1 job description.
  • Provide support for learning activities by planning, delivering and evaluating learning activities; promote independence.

After school Club Organiser

  • Undertake supervision, security and welfare of children within the After school Club.
  • Provide and run activities for children during indoor and outdoor play.
  • Support the Senior After school Club Organiser and class teachers on welfare and discipline of pupils.
