Week commencing 26 th January 2026 Oak Haven School is a nurturing, inclusive, and specialist SEMH setting for Key Stage 2 to 4 learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Our mission is to provide a safe, empowering environment where every young person is supported to Empower, Heal, and Thrive . Newly established in September 2025, we are now looking for a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our team.

Responsibilities

Working in partnership with the Class Teacher and fellow Teaching Assistants, the successful candidate will work with learners in small groups, and on occasions provide whole class cover, delivering lessons to a small class of learners with social emotional and mental health needs.

If you are passionate about supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs in a nurturing environment, we would be excited to hear from you.

Visits to school are warmly encouraged by appointment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess a GCSE (level 9-4 or level
2) in maths and English.

Additionally, the successful candidate must have an NQF/QCF/RQF level 3 qualification or possess a level 3 teaching assistant apprenticeship qualification.
