Location: Rochdale
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm (term time only)
Start Date: Immediate start until Easter (with potential to continue or become permanent)
Salary: 160‑220 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher looking for a rewarding full‑time opportunity? A well‑regarded secondary school in Rochdale is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team and teach pupils up to Key Stage 4.
This is a full teaching role, involving planning, delivery, and marking
, within a supportive and forward‑thinking school environment. There is the potential for this role to become long‑term or permanent for the right candidate.
- Deliver engaging and high‑quality Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan and prepare structured, creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with strong behaviour management
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider Science department and school community
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Experience teaching Science at secondary school level
- A passion for inspiring young people and maintaining high standards of learning
