Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified and passionate Supply Teachers to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools in Rochdale. Regular supply work is available for those looking for flexible, day‑to‑day cover or short‑term assignments, including sickness cover, PPA, and course release.

Whether you’re an ECT seeking classroom experience or an experienced teacher seeking flexibility, this is a great opportunity to work with a range of schools in your local area with full support from a dedicated consultant.

• Deliver lessons from pre‑set plans in the absence of the class teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a focused learning environment.
• Adapt to different school environments and year groups.
• Support students’ learning and development, ensuring safeguarding policies are followed.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and pupils.

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Have experience teaching in UK schools.
• Be adaptable, reliable, and confident in managing a classroom.
• Be enthusiastic about engaging with pupils of various ages and abilities.
• Can commute to schools across Oldham and surrounding areas.

• Right to Work in the UK
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service or willingness to apply)
• Two professional teaching references
• Recent safeguarding training (can be provided)
