Position: Graduate Teacher Programme (Maths / English / Science / Humanities)

Our Future Teacher Programme offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on school experience before committing to teacher training.

This programme is ideal for graduates in Maths, English, Science or Humanities who want to explore teaching, build confidence in the classroom, and strengthen a future PGCE or teacher training application
.

As a Graduate on our Future Teacher Programme, youكى will work alongside experienced teachers, gaining insight into day‑to‑day life in a secondary school while supporting pupils in lessons and across the wider school community.

Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning in your subject area
  • Work with small groups and individual pupils
  • Observe experienced teachers and best practice
  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Gain experience in behaviour management and safeguarding
  • Become a valued member of the school team
Qualifications
  • A graduate (or final‑year student) in Maths, English, Science, or Humanities
  • Interest in pursuing a career in secondary teaching
  • Positive, proactive, and professional attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to supporting young people's learning
  • Meaningful secondary school classroom experience
  • Mentoring and guidance from experienced staff
  • Insight into teacher training routes and applications
  • A supportive and welcoming school environment
  • Excellent preparation for PGCE, School Direct, or other training pathways
