Bowlee Park Community School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and hard‑working teaching assistant to join the caring and friendly staff to support pupils with additional needs.

The successful candidate should have the ability to communicate at all levels and be able to work as part of a team.

Key responsibilities and qualifications
  • Have recent successful experience in a primary school.
  • Possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Have high expectations of pupil’s achievement.
  • Have vision, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Be a team player with a positive outlook.
  • Be flexible, adaptable and driven by the needs of our children.
  • Have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors.

Following a recent Ofsted Inspection in November 2023, Bowlee Park has maintained its 'Outstanding' grade.

The school has a strong caring ethos, high expectations, hardworking children and a strong team of motivated and supportive teaching and support staff.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.
