All Saints’ CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive School Based Family Worker to join our nurturing school community.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone motivated to make a real difference in children’s lives. You will work closely with pupils, families, staff, and external agencies, supporting pupils’ emotional well‑being, behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and engagement in learning.
Key responsibilities- Support pupils’ emotional, social, and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with children and young people, ideally within a school setting.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and families.
- Identify barriers to learning and develop targeted support plans.
- Use restorative and trauma‑informed approaches to help pupils regulate their behaviour.
- Maintain accurate safeguarding, behaviour, and attendance records.
- Respond calmly and effectively during crisis situations.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.
- Passionate about supporting children’s emotional, social, and mental health needs.
- Experienced working with children and young people, ideally within a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in liaising with external agencies such as Social Care, CAMHS, and Early Help.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
