Stories We Tell:
Rochdale is an immersive night‑time walk through the streets of Rochdale, where light, sound and film bring local residents’ stories to life.

Using immersive 360° binaural audio through headphones, local voices will guide you through familiar streets, while magical projections transform buildings around you, revealing hidden histories, personal memories and moments that have shaped the town.

With each step, sound and light unravel layers of stories, woven together to celebrate Rochdale’s past, present and future.

Brought to you by Breaking Barriers as part of the Greater Manchester Town of Culture 2025–26 programme.

Each evening there will be two performances taking place. We expect volunteers will be required from 5pm - 9pm during the show dates. There will also be volunteer training days in the lead up to the event.

  Tuesday 27th January
• Performances Week 1:
  Wednesday 28th January - Saturday 31st January 2026
• Performances Week 2:
  Tuesday 3rd February - Friday 6th February 2026
