Tesla's Lithium Refinery is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Preventive Maintenance (PM) Lead to develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance tasks at our facility in Robstown, TX. This role ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability of equipment through meticulous planning and execution of preventative and predictive maintenance activities.

• Design and establish a comprehensive preventive maintenance program including vibration analysis, oil sampling, steam trap surveys, safety inspections, and IR thermography.
• Create standardized procedures, checklists, and documentation for maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize production disruptions, utilizing CMMS for tracking.
• Manage third-party service agreements, vendor performance, costs, and compliance with Tesla standards.
• Analyze PM data to identify trends, predict failures, and generate reports with recommendations.
• Develop weekly/monthly maintenance schedules for assigned areas.
• Train personnel on high-frequency maintenance procedures and conduct audits for adherence.

• Strong understanding of equipment maintenance fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years in industrial manufacturing supporting maintenance strategies.
• Experience with solids handling, rotary calcination, and hydro-metallurgical equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
• Basic knowledge of energy isolation, LOTO, and unit operations fundamentals.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
