About the RoleAs Finance Manager you will have a broad role in our organization which is continuously growing and evolving. The job’s responsibility will be applicable to the finance function of our USA based operations located in Robertsdale, Alabama (Dellner Hydratech USA, Inc.).
Responsibilities- A key responsibility is to build up a proactive and productive finance function that contributes to and supports the business as well as coordinating to make the day-to-day work much more effective and profitable.
- This incorporates working with Microsoft Dynamics to support weekly, monthly and year reporting, follow-up and auditing.
- To professionally handle the financial management, accounting, controlling, month and year reporting and review is key, which requires a high level of integrity, and accounting compliance.
- Our Finance Manager is also expected to use their knowledge, skills and experience in local GAAP and US Tax based statutory requirements to comply with local and federal regulations and on-time filing.
- As part of the management team you, together with the US Finance Manager, Managing Director and Site Director, will be driving the company forward.
- You report to the USA based Finance Director, Managing Director and Group CFO .
- The position may travel on a domestic basis and some international travel over the course of the year.
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- To succeed you are a forward-thinking person who enjoys working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- As a finance professional you are experienced in accounting, financing, cash management, budgeting and controlling.
- Knowledge of local GAAP is a must.
- Ability to operate within Microsoft Dynamics
- You are communicative, tactful and take pride in being reliable and consistent.
- You are good at collaborating and creating trust among your colleagues, and are able to delegate when required.
- You have strong organizational and multitasking skills, making your work more effective.
- You can think strategically (long term) while also drawing from an entrepreneurial spirit for short term gains.
- You have the ability to quickly grasp issues and make timely and informed decisions accordingly.
- You are a person of the highest integrity who respects and always adheres to policy and company compliance.
- P&L Management in order to build and manage long or short range financial plans (budgeting and forecasting).
- You bring relevant academic background and experience in working in finance, preferably within industrial manufacturing, distribution and service companies.
- You have experience in leading change and successfully working to develop and improve ways-of-working and processes in financial management, reporting and follow up.
- To have implemented KPIs and leading an organization supported by them is preferred.
- Furthermore, you have an overall understanding of all aspects of the finance function for a multimillion dollar entity with diverse substructure of business units.
