• Prepare and manage sterile fields for a broad spectrum of surgical cases, ensuring accurate instrument counts and instrument handling, while maintaining vigilance for patient safety.
• Assist surgeons and scrub nurses by anticipating needs, passing instruments promptly, preparing implants and supplies, and supporting tissue handling and specimen labeling with precision.
• Maintain surgical environments by following strict sterile techniques, proper draping, room turnover efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Adapt to diverse specialties within the OR, including general, orthopedic, gynecologic, ENT, plastics, and more, while documenting pertinent perioperative data and communicating clearly with the team.
