Hourly Rate: $36.47 – $51.96 (dependent on years of experience, unionized)
Shift Type: Nights
Hours/Day: 40 hours per 2-week pay period
Weekend Requirements: No weekends
On-Call Requirements: No call
The Radiologic Technologist performs quality diagnostic radiological exams on patients of all ages, including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, as ordered by Providers. The Technologist may also perform other radiological procedures within the scope of licensure, such as EKGs and Dexa bone scans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform accurate imaging exams as ordered by Physician/Provider and present them for review.
- Administer EKGs and present results to Physician/Provider for review.
- Apply critical thinking skills, recognize emergent situations, and respond appropriately.
- Maintain daily records and ensure the department is neat and orderly.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Utilize imaging and EMR computer systems correctly.
- Perform daily checks of systems and appropriate documentation.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control testing as required.
- Interact professionally with Providers, co-workers, patients, and families.
- Accept other duties as assigned to accomplish organizational goals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the skills outlined in the position skills list.
- Maintain skill proficiency and upgrade additional/new skills as required.
- Recognize and comply with legal, regulatory, accrediting, and procedural requirements.
- Protect patient and team member privacy, accessing information only as needed.
- Report violations or areas of concern to supervisor or Compliance Officer via established methods.

Basic Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent – Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program – Required
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 1–5 years of Radiologic Technology experience – Required
- Fluoroscopy experience – Required
- Surgical experience – Required
Licensure and Certification:
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
Certification Requirements:
- ARRT
