Albany Trucking is recruiting skilled CDL A operators for our exclusive Virginia and West Virginia distribution network. This opportunity delivers steady weekly home arrangements, hassle‑free no‑touch merchandise, and the ability to create a professional routine that complements your personal life. With a $2,500 welcome bonus and weekly earnings of $1,475 and $1,525, this specialized position offers both the consistency and financial rewards that professional drivers expect.

You’ll execute specialized deliveries throughout the Virginia and West Virginia corridor. This dedicated circuit typically generates 4 weekly assignments totaling approximately 2,000 miles. Each assignment averages 490 miles, ensuring manageable distances within your established territory. Merchandise handling involves both drop‑and‑hook operations and live unloading utilizing motorized pallet equipment—zero manual heavy lifting necessary.

This specialized role operates continuously with predominantly overnight departures. You’ll handle evening shifts, weekend duties, and holiday assignments as part of regular scheduling. Holiday service is mandatory, including prior week coverage. The key benefit? Weekly home arrival ensuring full 34‑hour recovery time. Operators living within 30 miles of our distribution hub may complete daily 10‑hour rest requirements at home.

Albany Trucking maintains 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth tractors equipped with 1200‑1500 watt power systems. You’ll be assigned a sleeper‑configured vehicle for this dedicated circuit. While specific model preference isn’t accommodated, all equipment receives comprehensive maintenance and operational readiness.

Medical, dental, and vision coverage via Blue Cross Blue Shield activates after 30 days. Our Fidelity 401K plan provides 4% employer matching after 6 months tenure. Paid time off starts with one week following your first anniversary, progressing to four weeks after 15 years service. We’re pet‑accommodating – one companion animal accepted regardless of breed or size for a $500 non‑refundable deposit.

Current CDL A authorization, residence within our recruitment territory, and commitment to this dedicated weekly home rotation. Occasional motorized pallet jack usage may be required (comprehensive training provided), but no strenuous manual labor is involved.
