Delivery Specialist - Hub

Location:

Roanoke, VA.

• Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
• Maintain a legal state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, and deliver to appropriate store.
• Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure; be familiar with accident report guidelines.
• Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest;jeje delay reports to city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stores on Escritotes.
• Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations and communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage prior to operating vehicle each day.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager; ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at end of day’s business; drive safely and defensively.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations gutt.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18‑point record system.

• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
